To use up some more scraps of patterned paper, I created a little journal mat by alternating the green and blue patterned papers, then layered a sticker (Carta Bella, Paris Girl) overtop, and a small sticker border along the bottom of the journal spot. The crown perfectly depicts miss Addisons' personality- our little princess, and I love the intensity and brightness of the cardstock in the background.
I have one more goody for you tonight, too! I created another layout, while my dear husband chilled with me, searching online for goodies for his prize- his race truck. He's using some of his tax return to splurge on himself. He deserves it! I mentioned on my group page, that I wanted to start making use of the projects, techniques and neat craft ideas that I've come across on Pinterest, and I'm going to make good on that. Since it's Monday, I'll post a project- whether its a sketch that I'd saved, a layout I wanted to scraplift, a neat project I want to try, or a technique that looks really cool- and share it with you via a new series entitled Pinterest Inspired. Share any ideas you've got! Share the projects you've come up with on Pinterest- I'd love to see them!
Its originally found HERE, at Babigirls' Scrapbook.com gallery. What drew me to this sketch was the bold pattern and giant embellishment in the centre of the card. I also love that the sentiment is located at the bottom of the card. Its just overall a stunning piece of work!
Annndddd...unfortunately, I just about tried scanning it, but the embellishment I added is way too bulky for a nice scan to come out. So, the picture that relates to this sketch is going to have to wait until tomorrow. Sorry, folks! I was really excited about sharing this project with you. I love it- its a favorite of mine!
Ack! I just realized I didn't get your mojo Monday challenge posted today. Please forgive me! I'll make sure I don't forget to post our Win it Wednesday challenge.
Have a good night, everyone, and I'll catch up with you again tomorrow!
