I've decided to hold a Christmas card extravaganza, of sorts, from now until the season is over. I am making cards that are just specifically Christmas themed; they are also going to be a different price. Sets will now be in groups of five and retail at $15.00. Cards can be mixed and matched (which I don't think I ever clarified with all the rest of my cards- my bad!!), or they can be kept all the same. I'm pretty flexible- I don't mind what people want with their cards! Individual cards will be offered at $4.00 each instead of five. If card business picks up and I start selling more of them, this may become the permanent price I offer my cards at. We'll see how this 'test run' goes. If you're wondering about the cards I've currently got in stock (the Christmas themed ones), you'll be happy to know that they are currently marked down- meaning they're on sale for $3.00 each or $8.50 for the sets of three they come in. How great is that?!
Good evening, dear friends! How is everyone tonight?! I'm dropping in late because I went for a coffee date with some girlfriends while our kids were in school this morning. It was incredibly nice being able to sit and chat for a while- away from home! I also wanted to share some news with you. Custom orders are highly envied and strongly encouraged, as always. Please share the sale/Christmas card extravaganza/Christmas card special (whatever pleases your heart the most) and help me build some sales! Networking is going fabulously, and I'm starting to pick up sales in other types of goods, such as my business tags and mini albums, but I'd also like to start selling other merchandise! There are two reasons why I've got my Christmas cards on 'sale' status. Mainly, I'm making more of them so that I have lots of Christmas stock for the craft shows that are coming up later in October and November. I'm hoping things start looking up at events like those; secondly, I'm hoping to generate more business in my greeting cards in general., so that in between all the craft shows, my little business stays afloat! And, so I can keep busy creating things for all you lovely people. I've said before, and I'll say it again, I LOVE creating for y'all- its a lot more fun for me than doing my own creating! I shouldn't sit here and chat for too long- tomorrow is another school day. So, here are the first two cards I created for the SALE (*note: both these cards have sentiments stamped on the inside, as well. the sentiments aren't pictured):

Hi everyone! Ohhh, how I've missed blogging! I'm so glad its back to school today, so that I can get back to my obsessions!!
I have a few exciting projects to share with you, but I think I'll have to share them with you tomorrow. Once again, its nearly time to pick the girls up from school, then I have to jet off to Mayerthorpe for a doctors appointment. But, I can tell you that I've got a few more tags to share with you! Eeek! They are ADORABLE!!! If you want some, too, either for your home business, or for gifts, please get in touch with me! I can help! Also, its time to start thinking about your Christmas cards. Following on the heels of fall is winter, and that means snow and Christmas! I am taking custom orders for Christmas cards- get your orders in early so you get your cards in enough time to mail them to your loved ones! As always, shipping in Canada is FREE, and discounts are available for large orders (anything over 10 cards). You'll be able to browse my RTS (ready to ship) album on my group page, HERE for ideas, or just shoot me a message. I'd sincerely love to help you out! I prefer scrapping for YOU than for myself! Its more fun, lol! Till tomorrow!! Good morning! Its a little late, but here's the latest Simple Sketches design team assignment I completed. This one was due on September 7, but I somehow missed the blog post going live. Probably because I was away, heh. I am absolutely LOVING this polka dot patterned paper from Recollections. I need to go and pick me up some more! Its just delicious! I'm also loving how all the colors jive together- isn't the floral patterned paper so pretty?!
In this picture, the girls sat on the deck to eat their lunch. I snapped a picture of them through the dining room window, and thought the journalling tag was appropriate to highlight them just sitting and watching the snow melt and the grass turn green while they ate their sandwiches. The butterflies help signify spring. I finished up the next DT assignment, but unfortunately I can't share that one with you just now. Hopefully soon! In other news, I have some exciting news to share! First, and foremost, there's a 1000 fan auction happening at my friend Emily's Facebook page. You'll find her HERE. I have FIVE entire items up for grabs, and there isn't a single bid on them yet. Head on over there, and start bidding away. You could get some fabulous items at below cost! Mine include a set of 5 greeting cards, a mini album, scrapbook album, one greeting card, and a custom layout. Snatch up the goods before its too late! Also, I am having a FLASH SALE at my group page until Sunday at midnight. I'd love to clear out some of the stock I've been working on, so that I can make room for lots and lots of Christmas cards! I think for the Christmas season, I'm going to make sets of 5 cards for $20.00. (Also, this is the PRIME TIME for getting your Christmas card orders in. Christmas will be here before you know it, and if you're planning to send cards along with letters to friends and family, you'll need to leave ample time to get them mailed! Hit me up if you're interested!) All cards in my READY TO SHIP photo album are marked down to $8.00 per set, which works out to slightly over $2.50 per card. That's an awesome deal, and I would hate for anyone to miss out! You'll find my Ready to Ship album HERE. Lastly, don't forget that I'm open and really, REALLY wanting to fill more custom orders. Keep the orders coming in, and let your friends know all about me! I'm seriously BORED with just my own scrapbooking to do!! I sincerely love scrapbooking for other people! Thanks for dropping in, and I'm grateful for each and every one of you! See you again real soon! Hey guys! Hows it going!? I haven't been around for quite a while, haven't I? I'm sorry about that; I haven't forgotten about you. In fact, its just been so busy that I haven't had the chance to sit and talk with you! I'm hoping to remedy that as we get our school schedule ironed out. As it stands, I have to go and pick up the kids in just a few short minutes, but I wanted to drop by and share with you about today's Win it Wednesday!
I was thinking about school, and school starting for my kids this past Monday, and I asked myself what my favorite season was. Then, I wondered what your favorite season is. I honestly can't say that I have a most favorite time of season. When the new season rolls around, I'm generally ready for it, so it becomes my favourite! I do love cooler weather, though. I'm not a hot weather loving person, and I"m hearing that we're in for some hot weather yet, and for that, I'm extremely happy! I'm looking forward to cooler weather, but that doesn't really mean I'm ready for fall yet. I don't feel like summer even really visited us! Don't you?! Please drop by my group page and play along with today's challenge. You may also comment on this blog post, and it will be counted towards the entries as well. I'll announce the winner after 8 pm tomorrow night. One entry per contestant, please. I hope to share more with you next week! The kids are done school after today (for the week), and next week they'll start going more regularly (Monday-Thursday). I'll have more time to blog then, hopefully! Till I see you next... |
