I forgot to mention in yesterdays post, that I've used the Ask a Question feature over at Facebook, and I'm wondering if you'd take just a few minutes (or minute, it really won't take long!!) to answer that one simple question. Please be honest- I want to make this the best company possible, and I want to help who ever possible! If my work isn't worth what I'm asking, please let me know! Its pinned right to the top of my page, so you shouldn't miss it. Thank you SO much!!!
The kids and I will be away this weekend, so I won't be around until either Sunday night or Monday. I'm taking the kids to Klondike Days on Saturday, and they're going to have an absolute riot! We've also got a play date planned with some friends of ours; we've been trying to plan this for a little over a month, and it hasn't worked out. My sister told me that our friends' oldest was so upset over it, she cried the last time we weren't able to come. I can't break this girls' heart again! She's obsessed with meeting my girls! I think its pretty sweet. I will, however, drop in from time to time, to say hi, and stay connected.
I got a set of cards made today, and after humming and hawing over what kind of cards they were going to be, I settled for baby cards. I wanted to use my Cuttlebug, specifically the polka dot embossing folder, and I thought it would work best on baby cards. The card sketch that originally inspired me is THIS one. What other card themes/subjects can you imagine being created using this sketch? I'm still thinking on it, because I love it so much. Once again, its a sketch that I want to use again! Here's my take:
And, lastly, I also have some sneak peeks for you. I am at the end of the road on this project. After this, you'll not see anymore sneak peeks. I do have another album to work on, but I've got permission to share the pages I make on this one, so next time you see me post a layout, it'll be the full meal deal! There won't be any pictures included in this album; the wonderful lady I'm making it for wants to add them herself. So, you'll see, probably starting late Monday (if not Tuesday), what I've got up my sleeve for storing her pictures in this album! Pretty 'neaky if you ask me! And, since I'm on the topic once again, please share, share, share with your friends and family that I have availability to work on custom projects later in August and in September. Beyond then, I think I'm pretty well booked up on a HUGE order for another wonderful, dear, repeat client. I may be able to take smaller orders after September, but we'll see. Time will tell! Also, I will ship to the States, too, if any of my American friends would be interested in having something made. Just let me know!
So, without further adieu, here's the last of the sneak peeks:
