Oh- I forgot to mention that we ALSO moved the girls into their own rooms while we were at it. A and I did it all on our own, without Kyle's help. In fact, it turned out he wasn't even around when we got to moving Addisons' bed (and we both thought he was out putzing in the garage). Woman power! Its an awesome thing! So...want to see some pictures? Yeah, I thought you did (wink, wink).
Last, but not least, I have cards to share with you tonight. I contemplated starting on a new layout for the album I'm working on, but since I was getting a late start, I figured I'd keep it simple and low key, and get started tomorrow night on a layout. I'm starting to shift my focus to Christmas cards, as it will be here even before we know it (I know its a bad word at the moment), and it occurred to me that I should maybe be thinking about autumn/Thanksgiving themed cards, too, so that'll also be added to my collection in the very near future.
For a little dimension, I used pop dots to raise up the Christmas ornament, after stamping it with SU's Cherry Cobbler ink, and fussy cutting it out of white card stock. In Always Artichoke ink, I stamped the sentiment, which is also SU. You'll probably recognize the card bases from a couple other Christmas cards I completed a couple of days ago! I wanted to get them used up, so that I can use traditional Christmas colors on the next set of cards I make. I did try and mix both non traditional and traditional with these cards- the bases are out of the norm, as far as the holidays go, but the green card stock (SU) and the sticker border (SU) are from a Christmas collection I've had in my stash for so long, I can't remember when I got it! You'll find the inspiration behind this card HERE.
If you're in the market for Christmas cards, get in touch with me! I'd be delighted to work with you, and get all your Christmas cards made up for you! Spread the word, if you please!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, dear friends. I'm headed to bed right away here. It was a busy, and fabulous day, and now I need to rest my weary head and body! Back at ya, tomorrow! Till then, peace out!
