I really desperately wish I had more to show you than this little sneak peek I've got, but at least I have something to share!
Come tomorrow, I plan to tackle another set of cards- maybe two, depending on how the day goes. The next week should be slower, so I can get this album I'm working on done, and then start working on the next one! Whoo! I'll be away to Edmonton at the very end of July (from the 26th to the 28th), and then August long, the middle of August, and finally the beginning of September. After that first week in September, things will finally have slowed down! I hope! School for the kids starts on the 9th, so beginning then I'll have more time in the mornings to get some work done without interruptions. I'm SO looking forward to it! I'm hoping that WORK (and by work, I mean PLAY!!) will pick up by then, though! So, spread the word. This mama is on a mission!
I think that's all for now. I've got a question that is just begging to be let out the bag, but I don't want to divulge just yet. Its going to be Wednesday's Win it Wednesday challenge question, so keep your eyes peeled for it. Since I'm on the topic of challenges, did anyone see the post for today's Mojo Monday challenge (posted to my group page?) Did anyone try it out? I would love to, but I don't have burlap, or a stamp that I'd want to display on such a pretty upcycled vase like that! Not to mention the gorgeous flowers filling it. (Ha). If you did tackle today's challenge, PLEASE share it with us. (Me, especially). We'd love to see it! If you missed it, you'll find it HERE.
Lastly, we're coming close to the start of another month, so I'll browse through my layout album and find another sketch for August's monthly sketch challenge. Has anyone tackled this months' sketch challenge? Don't forget- if you do, we'll vote on our most favourite take on it, then induct the winner into the Everyday Scrapbooker Hall of Fame. YOu may not win a set of cards, but you will win the satisfaction of everyone admiring the beautiful work you've done! There's no better feeling than that (its really quite addicting). That's probably the best prize anyone could ever win- recognition for the beautiful work they put their heart and soul into!
Enjoy the rest of your evening! Thanks for dropping by, and I'll catch up with you again tomorrow!
