You may have seen posted to my group page that when I reach 50 "likes", I'll hold a free giveaway. I'm nearly there- only two more likes! What that means, is everyone that is a fan of my group page will be entered into a draw for one free handmade, custom gift of your choice. The contest will be open until Friday at midnight, and the winner will be drawn on Monday, June 3. I'll PM the winner and we'll sort out the details once we've gotten in touch.
What did you do today? Kyle told me yesterday, that the carnival is in town today, and we figured we'd bring the kids down to experience it. We went two years ago, but missed last years' event. Well, the kids had a riot. And, that's an understatement! They were so amped up over the rides, they didn't want to leave! They kept asking for more- poor Addison nearly threw a temper tantrum, but I promised her that there'll be other carnivals for us to take them to, such as K-days. I'm pretty psyched about that one. I may need to purchase leashes for the girls before then. The thought of losing them in the throng there terrifies me. LOL
Here's just a few pictures from our afternoon spent at the carnival. You'll see more of the action shots when I get around to scrapbooking this event!
Have I made you suffer long enough? Are you ready for the layout I made last night? There are only two more layouts left in my 'birthday' series; this one, and one that I made tonight. After this, it'll be miscellaneous layouts until the next series.
The girls got some new clothes for their birthday- specifially pretty summer dresses. After the birthday bash was over, we dressed them up in their new clothes and they modelled for us. They're pretty dang cute, if I say so myself!
Tomorrow's layout is going to highlight the fact that my babies are Olympic babies. They were born during the Olympics, and their grandparents bought them Olympic tumblers from Shell to commemorate that fact. The plan had been to etch their names into the tumblers, but the glass is too thin, and will break if they're etched. So...good idea, but didn't quite work out. Oh well! Its still something special to hang on to!
I'll share the details with you tomorrow!
