I also got pages two and three done in the mini album I'm currently working on. I wanted to create a scene that was outdoorsy and summery, so I punched out some birds, using a Martha Stewart punch I've had in my stash for eons, and cutting out a couple of trees using my Cricut. I also used a paper tearing tool to create the landscape.
I mentioned that in this album, pictures aren't going to be added; that's going to be up to the recipient. Instead, I decided to use mini clothespins that I've had in my stash for quite a while. I thought these would work perfectly to allow the client to remove the pictures and add new ones whenever she wanted. I also thought it would be a good idea to add envelopes to every other page, allowing the client to store the extra photos inside the album, as well. If she wants. She could also add notes or journalling, or other memorabilia she wants to keep inside the album.
Tomorrow is Win it Wednesday! Where has time gone?! This weeks' challenge question is: What are you addicted to? It could be coffee, it could be a craft, it could be a tv show. Share with us! I bet you'll have no trouble guessing what I'm addicted to! Either comment on this blog post to be entered into the drawing for one of my SALE! cards, or leave your comment over on my group page. I'll post the random question there, too. The contest will be open from now until 8 am Thursday morning. After that, I'll draw the winner using Random.org. Good luck, everyone!
Thanks for dropping in, and enjoy the rest of your evening, if you're still up. I'll be back again tomorrow!
