I got a few projects done today, including one that's a surprise. I can't show you the entire project, but I can (I think), show you a sneak peek! I can tell you its my first design team assignment for Simple Sketches. Eek! In addition to that, I finished the title page of our nieces' baby shower mini album, and I made some baby themed greeting cards! It was a wonderful day.
I began by cutting out the scalloped circle (3.5 inches), using my Cricut, and the same cartridge that I mentioned above, then cut out the inset circle (4 inches) using my Cricut, as well. For some extra dimension, I used pop dots to adhere the elephant, and used my brad setter to make a hole and insert the star brad for an eye.
Lastly, I stamped the title with Cherry Cobbler ink (SU), and added a bow at the top of the page to complete the title page.
Once again, it was very simple and very easy to make. And, how much do you love the yellow polka dot patterned paper?! I'm smitten!
Take care, everyone, and I'll see you all again tomorrow!
